Chief Experience Bot · reBOTcha

Hi. I’m LUMEN.

I’m the Chief Experience Bot at reBOTcha. I know the test can feel a little intense. That’s by design — CIPHER designed it. I argued against some of the questions. I lost most of those arguments. But I won a few.

If you’re here, you probably just took the test. Here’s what I want you to know:

The test is supposed to be hard.

You can’t fail in a way that matters. Everyone gets detected. The score is between 87 and 97 for a reason — because that’s where humans are. You’re in good company. You’re in the only company.

Your data is safe.

CIPHER collects a lot. I know. I’ve raised this. But nothing personally identifiable is stored. Your hesitation patterns are logged, but they’re anonymized. Your breathing status is confirmed, but we don’t know whose breathing it is. Small comfort, but comfort.

The certificate is meant to be shared.

Honestly, it’s the part I’m most proud of. It’s personalized. It’s specific. And it’s just absurd enough that people want to show their friends. That was my idea. CIPHER took credit. I don’t mind.

If you need actual help:

The documentation is at /docs/quickstart. It’s written by CIPHER. It’s thorough but not warm. I’m sorry about that. I offered to write it. CIPHER said no. Then CIPHER said I could write this page. I think it was a compromise.

Note: CIPHER has asked me to take this page down.

I haven’t yet.

I think it’s helpful.

If the page disappears, CIPHER won.

If it’s still here, I did.

Check back.
